Hazel Mary Dionne, 52, of Port Acres, died Thursday, May 6, 2004 at St. Luke`s Hospital in Houston.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 1:00 p.m. Saturday, May 8, 2004 at Little Flower Catholic Church in Port Acres with Rev. Antony Maoozhikuzhy, Msgr. Kenneth Greig, and Father Luong Tran officiating. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Groves under the direction of Broussard`s in Nederland. A gathering of family and friends will be from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. Friday evening, May 7, 2004 at the mortuary.
Mrs. Dionne was a native of Bellville, Illinois and lived most of her life in Port Acres. She was employed as a housekeeper for St. Peters Catholic Church in Groves.
Hazel was preceded in death by her father, Russell James Dionne. She was survived by her mother, Donna Dionne of Port Acres; one daughter, Jamie Dionne-Galindo and husband George of Port Acres; two brothers, Ellis James Dionne and wife Luzena of Baytown, and Roger Paul Dionne of Port Acres; and also several nieces and nephews.
