Michael Mike Dean, 46, of Port Neches passed away, Monday, March 1, 2004 at his residence.
A gathering of family and friends will be from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, March 5, 2004 at Broussard's Mortuary, 505 12th. Street, Nederland. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 6, 2004 at Broussard's Nederland Chapel with Reverend Carla Shields officiating. Interment and graveside services will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches.
Mike was born May 3, 1957, in Oakland, CA, and had been a resident of Port Neches since 1999. He was owner of the Neches Cafe in Port Neches, and was a member of the Port Neches Lions Club and the Chamber of Commerce of Port Neches. He really enjoyed the art of cooking.
Survivors include his wife, Sherry Dean of Port Neches; children, Christina A. Brooks of San Mateo, CA, Bryan A. Bevington of Sunnyvale, Ca, and Andrea K. Bevington of Port Neches; mother, Ruth Dean Davis of Fallon, NV; brothers, Larry Arlitt of North Bend, WA, David E. Foote of Roseville, CA; sisters, Joan Dean of Chehalis, WA, Janica R. Kumplin of Winnemucca, NV; three grandsons, Stephen, Shawn, and James all of California.
