I just wanted you all to know, how much your loved and thought about. I know it's been over a year since we lost Cheryl, but it still feels like yesterday. I miss our talks so much. She was my Dear Abby. She was always trying to solve all my problems. Our kids or the same age, so we were going through the same trials at the same time. It just always seemed like she had the better answers. She was just so calm,and I was always freaking out!!! She kept me from saying things I would regret later. Dearest Cheryl, You know I try to listen to what every one says and they always say well she is in a better place and for that I am glad I am glad that your not suffering anymore but it is not easy here. You know sometimes I just don't know what to do I have this pain that aches in my heart to never be able to feel your soft skin and warm felt hugs and never again smell your scent ,or see your beautifull smile that would light up the room! I look at your pictures just wishing to feel you hug me just one more time. Sometimes is just overwhelmes me to think that here on earth I will never see you, hear you, smell you, hold you, or even call you to say hello! All I can do is hold on to my memories and that is even hard because I have to get past the past few years of watching you slowly wither away. Well I still MISS you Easter was the last I seen of you and I think of you everyday and every nite and all I can do is cry and feel so lonesome for you. I try to focus on the good times but it doesnt change the fact that your GONE, and I try to accept your in a better place but I still feel you belong here to be with all of us, and that your time was cut short. I just know you signed every card you gave me Love you special so Im telling you LOVE YOU SPECIAL LOVE ALWAYS AND FOREVER CHERIE

This has been so hard for me. The miles are so long betwween us.... I still can not believe all of this. But, I think of Cheryl and her family often. She was my cousin. It sad for I can't remember the last time we saw one another. I miss you all. so very much and I know this is a hard time. She is in a much Happier place. I love you all and I am going to try and stay in touch with you all better than I have been. I do hope you all will do the same. Our family is getting smaller and smaller. At least mine is here in TN. :( Here something I would like to leave you on a last note.... I will turn their mourning into gladness; I will give them comfort and joy instead of sorrow. Dear Fontenot family-I was so sorry to hear about Cheryl. I know this is hard for all of you and if there is anything we can do please do not hesitate to call. You were so thoughtful when we lost Tommy and I know the pain and emptyness you feel now. I will always have fond memories of Cheryl and feel blessed that I had the chance to know her. It is such a shame for a child to lose a parent at such a young age and if Sarah should feel the need to talk about anything Candice is there for her and I for you Dale. God bless all of you.You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Cheryl was my mom and I loved her soooo much. She is the sweetest and most beautiful woman I will ever know. And she was my best friend. I'll miss my mommy very much...

To Dale and your family, We were very saddened to hear about Cheryl. Matthew loved her very much. She was a very sweet lady. I always knew that my son would be well taken care of when he visited your home. He misses you all. Please extend our condolences to all of your family. Take care.

I went to school with Cheryl in Nederland ( and Dale also ). We had several classes together, she was such a sweet person with a beautiful smile. She was always willing to help everyone. My thoughts are with your family during this time.
