Francis Joseph Caillier

Francis Joseph Caillier, 70, of Nederland, died Sunday, January 11, 2004 at a private health care facility in Groves.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 14, 2004 at Broussard`s in Nederland with interment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery. A gathering of family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening, January 13, 2004 at the mortuary.

Mr. Caillier was a native of Breaux Bridge, Louisiana and lived in Nederland since 1940. He retired from the Kansas City Southern Railroad as a road master with thirty-five years of service. Mr. Caillier was also a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Nederland.

He is survived by his wife, Evelyn Caillier of Nederland; seven daughters, Janice Wright and husband Thomas of Kirbyville, Beverly LaSalle and husband Barry of Nederland, Glenda Pareso and husband Daniel of San Antonio, Elizabeth Blackwell and husband Ray of Warren, Tammie Galhire and husband Raymond of Missouri, Bonnie Breaux of Laporte, and Dorothy Lasseigne and husband Gerald of Spring; three sons, Glenn Caillier and wife Wynell of Spurger, Melvin Stephens and wife Marcy of Birmingham, Alabama, and Clifford Stephens and wife Sherri of San Diego, California; one sister, Jannette Provost and husband Pat of Garland; also twenty-five grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
