William “Bill” Leatherwood, Sr., 65, of Lumberton, died Wednesday, April 20, 2005 at Memorial Hermann Baptist Beaumont Hospital.
He was a native and lifelong resident of Lumberton and retired as an insulator for the construction business.
Survivors include his daughter, Connie Leatherwood Jeter and her husband Ray of Fred; son, William Leatherwood, Jr. and his wife Darla of Silsbee; two grandchildren; two great grandchildren; brothers, Roy Leatherwood and Johnny Leatherwood both of Lumberton; sisters, Madge Nichols of Beaumont, Lynette Fregia of Winnie and Carol Glanert of Osage, Iowa.
A graveside service will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday, April 23, 2005 at Leatherwood Cemetery in Lumberton under the direction of Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee. A gathering of his family and friends will be 5:00 – 9:00 P.M. Friday, April 22, 2005 at the mortuary.
