Mary Adelaide Johnson, 93, of Sour Lake died April 20, 2005 at Country Dreams in Kountze. Born in Cameron, Louisiana she has been a resident of Sour Lake area for most of her life.
She is survived by her daughter, Winnie K. Hatch of Huntington; sons, Ronald H. Johnson of Sour Lake, Roger D. Johnson of Galveston; sister, June Harper of Grand Chenier; grandchildren, Len Aaron Dannhaus, Timothy Johnson, Brian Johnson; great grandchildren, Kathleen Dannhaus, Alexandria Dannhaus, Brandon Johnson and Traeger Johnson. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Hayward Johnson, grandson, Brett Johnson.
Funeral services will be 2:00 Sunday April 24, 2005 at the First Baptist Church of Sour Lake followed by burial at Rosedale Cemetery under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. A gathering of family and friends will be 5:00 – 8:00 Saturday April 23, 2005 at the mortuary.
