Dr. Ramsey was a fine man, teacher, and mentor to me as I took his classes at Lamar in 60's and 70's . I enjoyed his wit and excellent teaching style - his love of birds was inspiring. All of the students he taught will miss him and thank him for help in our careers. I enjoyed teaching biology because of him. My thoughts and prayers are with Mrs. Ramsey and the family. God bless all of you.

It's hard to believe I have known your family over 40 years. It's true. Faithful and loyal but few knew what a sense of humor he had to cheer you if you were recovering. He sent letters of encouragement each week. Bob, Elizabeth and Paige
