Many in the Baton Rouge office were saddened to hear the news of Gilbert's time in the hospital and tried to keep up with his condition. Many prayed for him and his family. He was very much liked and well respected. Gilbert answered questions I had when I started work at Nichols in 1973. I also worked with his dad, Jim who we all thought a lot of as well. May God bless all of you at this trying time and may God grant you peace and comfort.
