Sally Bean, 78, of Port Neches, died Monday, May 1, 2017. She was born on April 23, 1939, in Call, to Maysel Abbott Whiteker and Benjamin Whiteker.
Survivors include her husband, Rueben Bean of Port Neches; children, Tamre York and her husband, Robert, of Buna, Timmy Bean and his wife, Cynthia Grantham, of Evadale, and Tina Bean of Beaumont; grandchildren, Brandon York and his wife, Lindsay, Rheanna Everett, Larena McClendon and her husband, Blake, Tamara Lynn and her husband, Brian, Justin Whiteker and his wife, Christina, and Nichole Bean; thirteen great-grandchildren; and brother, Gary Whiteker.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Benjamin Whiteker, Jr., Kenneth Whiteker, and Glenn Youngblood.
A gathering of Mrs. Bean’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Friday, May 5, 2017, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. Her funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 6, 2017, at Broussard’s, with her interment following at Memory Gardens of Jefferson County, Nederland.
