Wilfred “Pat” Broussard, of Nederland, passed away Thursday, April 14, 2005 at Hemphill Care Center.
He was a native of Port Arthur and had lived most of his life in the Mid-County area. He was retired from Texaco as an Operator.
Survivors include his two daughters, Barbara Martin and husband Pierre of Nederland and Mary Lois Rieder of Pineland; two sons, Glenn Broussard and wife Elayne of Nederland and James Broussard and wife Sue of Pipe Creek, Texas; one sister, Velma Diambri of Maple Valley, Washington; seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
A gathering of family and friends will be from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. Friday, April 15, 2005 at Broussard’s, 505 12th Street, Nederland with a Rosary recited at 6:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 16, 2005 at St. Charles Catholic Church in Nederland with Reverend Dan Malain officiating. Interment and graveside services will be 3:30 PM at Hebert Cemetery in Perry, Louisiana near Abbeville.
