Billy Gilbert, Sr., 78, of Winnie died April 11, 2005 at Memorial Hermann Baptist Hospital.
Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 14, 2005 at First United Methodist Church under the direction of Broussard’s, 134 W. Buccaneer, Winnie with Masonic graveside services following in Fairview Cemetery. A gathering of family and friends will be 5:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
He was a native of Clemscot, Oklahoma and lived his life in the Winnie-Anahuac area. He was a Life Member of the Masonic Lodge in Anahuac.
He is survived by wife, Wanda Gilbert of Winnie; sons, Billy Gilbert, Jr. of Deer Park, Tommy Gilbert and wife Debra of Anahuac, and Russell Fitts and wife Paige of Lake Jackson; daughters, Sybil “Janie” Seidel and husband Lou of Baytown; grandchildren, Tommy Gilbert, Jr., Shannon Gilbert, Cory Gilbert, Danielle Gilbert, Chad Clarke, Brittany Fleming and Katie Fleming; and great grandchild, Hunter Bagent
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to First United Methodist Church, Winnie- Stowell.
