My grandmother, Nana, was the reason my heart beats daily. She loved with everything inside her and put all she had to offer into those she loves. There are so many family members and friends that she called hers. Loving each one as if they were the only one in her circle of life. She had a way of making you feel special and loved no matter what. She was a "hard woman but fair", is what my brother always said of her. Now that she has passed into the gates of Heaven, she will forever be missed here on this earth by most everyone that knew her.
Her family loved her with all their hearts and it was obvious to her that they did.
She helped anyone that was in need, gave from her heart, gave of her time, gave from her finances, more times than not, she freely gave of her Opinions too! Most times than not, her opinions were 100% on point and wonderful suggestions to be followed and not ignored! She is loved, will always be remembered with loving fondness and until we all make the journey ourselves, she will wait to see us all with her again!!!! Thank you all for your flowers, plants, cards, calls, texts, messages, hugs, shoulders to cry on, love, prayers, and support! May you all be blessed beyond your desires! I need you to keep in contact with me please, feeding my need for family and friends! I am close by if you ever need me for anything, just let me know... Raynine Bordelon, Granddaughter of Gladys Marie Anding Shoupe

Fell so blessed to have known her love and kindness. She taught me many things over the years. Just a few of them: Cherish the things God has provided you - your family, your house - keep it clean and orderly. Homegrown vegetables are good for you but don't forget to plant some flowers - they will make you smile everyday when you look at them. Love your family and friends but don't hesitate to tell them when you feel they have wronged you. You can't fix a problem that isn't acknowledged. Give your worries to God and thank him daily. She was truly an inspiration to all. Will miss her so much. She was truly blessed to have you Raynine. Her love for you was beyond measure. Take comfort in that!
