Joyce Elaine Sheffield, 73, of Beaumont, died Saturday, March 11, 2017. She was born on August 5, 1943, in Del Rio, to Venus Creech Seal and Milton Seal.
Joyce was a retired teacher’s aide with Beaumont Independent School District. She loved ceramics, painting, and cooking for her family.
Joyce is survived by her sons, Tommy Sheffield and his wife, Tiffany; and Terry Coleman and his wife, Jackie; grandchildren, Nicole Coleman, Alexis Price, Logan Sheffield, Dustin Bob, Justine Garrett, Tamara Sheffield, Kayla Lawrence, and Danisha Patrick; six great-grandchildren; and her special friend, Troy Allen.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, David Earl Sheffield; and sisters, Francis Seal and Faye Silva.
A graveside service for Mrs. Sheffield will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 18, 2017, at Adams Cemetery, Logan, Texas, under the direction of Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont.
