Annie Belle “Wooten” Sherman, of Nederland, passed away Monday, April 11, 2005 at her residence.
She was a native of Tyler County, Texas having lived most of her life in Jefferson County. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Nederland.
Her former husband, John Wooten and son, Jerry Wooten preceded her in death.
Survivors include her husband, J. C. Sherman of Nederland; one daughter, Shirley Tantzen and husband, Wendell of Bridge City; one son, Bobby Wooten and wife Ann of Fredericksburg; one sister, Edwina Hart of Woodville; two grandchildren, Jay and Michael Tantzen; and two great grandchildren, Kadin and Hope Tantzen.
A gathering of family and friends will be from 12 noon until 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 13, 2005 at Broussard’s, 505 12th Street, Nederland. Graveside services and interment will follow at 3:00 pm Wednesday, April 13, 2005 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Beaumont with Dr. David Higgs officiating.
