I am Joseph Catalina, Junior. I am from the National Weather Service Forecast Office. I am sorry to hear about Curtis Joseph Tomplaint who just passed away. I am a 3rd degree of the Knights of Columbus number 1304. I remember Curtis so well and he was a very good man but now he will be missed by everyone. I can say that Curtis did his work for the Knights Of Columbus and he did so well and he was a wonderful man and like I said he will be missed by everyone including myself. I was sorry to hear about his wife Margaret who passed away a couple of years ago and I did not know anything about her passing away and I can say that she is being missed as well just like Curtis will be missed as well. I would like to say that I lost my Mom Mrs. Catalina and she died in April of 99 and my Daddy in 87 and now there is only my Sister and I left. Again, I am so sorry that Curtis Passed Away. Curtis has gone to be with Lord and will be very well taken of in Heaven but don't worry he will be looking doown on all of us. I am the youngest son of Jack Tomplait, originally from Groves, Texas. I was informed by my father and brother of the loss. I met Curtis Tomplait while I was attending Lamar University some years ago, as he was employed as security. We had a nice chat and never really determined whether or not we were related, but he and I chuckled as I told him there must be some relation because of the Tomplait trademark( a nice size stomach). I find it hard to believe the time has passed us by so fast. May God comfort you during this time of loss.
