Steve and I were childhood friends in the old Freeway Manor Subdivision in South Houston. The last time I saw Steve was at one of the South Houston High School Class Reunions. We had a close mutual friend...Carol Callahan who we lost several years ago. That's when Steve and I reconnected. Since Steve remembered that my father raised orchids, he told about his. Steve was always a nice guy...a gentile spirit. I'm gonna miss you "buddy." Thanks for serving our country in the NAVY. May you rest in God's peace and may your loved ones cherish fond memories of you. God Bless, "Herk"
