Ray Gilbert Hargraves, 84, of Winnie, died Monday, March 21, 2005 at Silsbee Oaks Nursing Center. Graveside service will be Wednesday, March 23, 2005 at 10:30 A.M. at Fairview Cemetery in Winnie. A gathering of family and friends will be today from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 at Broussard’s 700 W. Saratoga Hwy, Kountze, Texas.
A native of Stowell, Ray was a lifelong resident of Winnie and was an oilfield worker.
He is survived by his wife: Hazel Hargraves of Winnie; son: Gary Hargraves and his wife Tabitha of Kountze; grandchildren: Randy Hargraves of Austin, Jason Hargraves of Batson, Jennifer Tanner of Pt. Neches, Megan Hargraves of Kountze; brothers: John Lee Hargraves and his wife Elaine of Toledo Bend, Carl Hargraves and his wife Doris of Winnie and 4 great grandchildren.
