Winifred Morgan, 87 of Nederland died Wednesday, March 16, 2005 at Mid-Jefferson Hospital in Nederland.
A native of Ardmore, OK, she had been a resident of Nederland since 1935. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Nederland.
Survivors include her husband, James Morgan of Nederland; two sons, Patrick Morgan and wife, Judy of Nacogdoches, Mike Morgan and wife, Joanna of Smithville; two sisters, Betty Walker of Nederland, Sylvia Hatchell of Kilgore; and three grandchildren Jonathan, Michal, and Jeffery Morgan; and one great grandchild, Kilian Morgan.
A gathering of family and friends will be from 5-8 pm Saturday, March 19, 2005 at Broussard’s Mortuary 505 12th. St. Nederland. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Sunday, March 20, 2005 at Broussard’s Nederland Chapel with Reverend Dwayne McCrary officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches.
