James T. Chambless, 74, of Nederland died, Sunday March 13, 2005 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont.
Gaveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 16, 2005 at the Ringgold Cemetery in Ringgold, Texas with Rev. Tommy Lamascus officiating. Services are under the direction of Broussard’s in Nederland. A gathering of family and friends will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday evening at the mortuary.
Mr. Chambless was a native of Livingston, and lived in Nederland since 1950. He retired from Atlantic Richfield in Groves as an operator with several years of service.
He is survived by his wife, Hazel Chambless of Nederland; one daughter, Katrina Janan Bennett of Nederland; one son, Jaime Joe Chambless and wife Brenda of Nederland; five grandchildren, Kimberly McMains, Clinton Chambless, Derek Chambless, Amber Escagne, and Brandon Bennett; five great grandchildren, Hallie McMains, Macie McMains, Jessica King, Evan Escagne, and Sammie Escagne.
