Albert Smith Jr,58, of Anahuac was born on July 28, 1946 to Albert Smith Sr. and Connie Rivon in Anahuac, Texas. During the later years of his life he joined Bright Light Baptist Church.
Albert attended school at George Washington Carver in Anahuac. He became an Insulator at Loomis Spark and Gas. He met and united in Holy Matrimony with Patricia A. Howard to this union five children were born.
He leaves to cherish his memory a loving wife of 39 years, Patricia A. Smith; daughter Pamelar Hickinson, Eulalia May and husband Robert, Shonda Bradford and husband Lee, Alice Cooper; sons Albert Smith III, Shannon Smith and wife Tanya; brothers Richard Smith and wife Linda, Tommy Smith, John Smith; sisters Linda White and husband Mayes White, Ellarstine Jones, Susie Lewis Richardson and husband George; great Aunts Earline Junious of Columbus; Eva Wills of Lockhart; grandchildren Nicoiya Hickinson Smith, Lloyd Hickenson, Shannon Mayes, Ciera Smith, Jonathan May, Chelsea Bradford, Jabrawn May, Michele Smith, Erika Doublin, Chris Sweat,Chloe Bradford; godson Samuel Bradford, Jr.He is preceded in death by brothers Hardie Humphrey, Jr., Elroy Humphrey, Alday Randle.
Funeral services will be 11:00am, Thursday March 17, 2005 at First Baptist Church in Anahuac with burial in Rivon cemetery, under the direction of Broussard’s, 134 W. Buccaneer, Winnie. A gathering of family and friends will be Wednesday evening 6:00-9:00pm at Bright Light Baptist Church in Anahuac.
