Fay Terry Cole, 69, of Nederland, was born on January 2, 1947 and passed away after a courageous battle with cancer, on February 27, 2016. Fay has touched the lives of many families with her years of childcare services, and treated all that she cared for as her very own. She had a love of cooking, crocheting, trivia, relaxing at the lake, visiting with her family and friends, and taking care of her beloved dog, Brisket.

Fay is preceded in death by the love of her life, Tommy Cole, her parents, Willie and Louise Terry, and several brothers and sisters.

Fay is survived by her brother Roy Terry and wife Mattie of Rye, TX; sister Wanda Taylor and husband “Big” Paul of Huntington, Texas; son Wil Broussard and wife Karen of Canberra, Australia and grandchildren, Jack, James, and Tom; son Charles Broussard and wife Cressa of League City, TX and grandchildren, Catherine, Cole, and Cash; son Philip Broussard and wife Tracey of The Woodlands, TX and grandchildren, Madison and Alyssa; daughter Christen Morgan and husband, Ken of Willis, TX; daughter-in-law Robyn Broussard of Nederland, TX; her best friend, Tina Breland of Winnie, as well as countless family and friends.

We wish to express our humble thanks to the staff at Harbor Hospice and MD Anderson for their knowledge, guidance, and grace during our journey.

A Celebration of Life will take place at Broussard’s Mortuary, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland, TX 77627 on Saturday, March 5, 2016 at 11:00 a.m.

My prayers go out to your family. Miss Faye took care of my boys at Jack and Jill Day Care many years ago and also took care of my granddaughter in her home. Very loving and kind woman.

Good bye Fay. You were one of God's Earth Angels here on earth. He has called you back to heaven. All of the selfless acts you have done on earth, such as the care you had given to so many people, has opened the gates of Heaven. I will thank you forever of the care you gave to Wayne, my brother. But, he was not the only person that you gave so much great care to.. You are and always will be missed here on earth.
