Rosemary Ann Sherman, formerly Rosemary Ann Jones, was born Thursday, August 31, 1944, in Sheffield England, to Mary Domrowicz and Robert J. Jones. Along with her younger brother, Michael Jones, they loved to play outside and cause mischief. She was particularly fond of Snow Bells, but she loved all flowers.

Rosemary’s father served as a Squadron Leader in the Royal Air Force for England, where she followed suit serving four years as a photographic interpreter and showing her keen sense of detail. Rosemary Jones met Edward Sherman while they both were serving their respective countries not knowing each of their bases were about five miles apart. After introductions through close personal friends, they became smitten with each other. Rosemary Jones was married to Edward Sherman on August 30, 1964, and was together for over fifty-one years in matrimony.

Rosemary departed from this world on Sunday, February 14, 2016, at 5:40 p.m. She is survived by her loving husband, Edward H. Sherman; five children, Robert Sherman, Phillip Sherman, John Sherman, Courtney Sherman, and Kristen Brown; five grandchildren, Kyle, Little John, Isaac, Giavanni, and Abigail; one great-grandchild on the way, that she had the pleasure of learning about hours before she passed; and brother, Michael Jones.

Memorial contributions can be made to American Cancer Society, 755 South 11th Street, Suite 212, Beaumont, Texas 77701.

I am so sorry to learn of your loss. Rosemary was a special lady and I considered her a friend. Time and circumstances distanced us, but in my heart she will always be held dear. I remember our special conversations and cards exchanged. My heart aches for the loss you, her family, will experience......family was of utmost importance to her.
May God's peace and love be with you.
