Gladys “Little Granny” Lowe, 93, of Kountze died Friday, March 4, 2005 at her residence. Funeral Service will be Monday, March 7, 2005 at 2:00 P.M. at Broussard’s 700 W. Saratoga Hwy Kountze, Texas with burial to follow at Old Hardin Cemetery in Kountze. A gathering of family and friends will be today from 2:00 P.M. – 9:00P.M. at the funeral home.
A native of Kountze she was a lifelong resident of Kountze and a homemaker.
Gladys is preceded in death by her husband; Jessie “Putt” Lowe and daughters; Jesse Mae Lowe and Hattie Presley and son-in-law; James Brown and 3 grandsons.
She is survived by her daughters; Alice Brown of Houston, Dorothy Riley and husband Marvin of Kountze and Helen Proctor and husband Cecil of Kountze, 12 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and 35 great great grandchildren.
