Irene Adele Cessna, 74, of Nederland, died Wednesday, February 23, 2005 at Park Place Medical Center.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 25, 2005 at Broussard’s in Nederland with Rev. Rick Erwin officiating. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Nederland. A gathering of family and friends will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday evening at the mortuary.
Mrs. Cessna was a native of Nashville, Tennessee, and lived in Nederland since 1945. She was a homemaker and a member of Proctor Baptist Church in Port Arthur.
She is survived by her husband, Frank P. Cessna of Nederland; three daughters, Karen Cole and husband Ray of Cypress, Sharon Koller and husband Michael of Nederland, and Sheri Gershen and husband Mitchell of Leesburg, Virginia; one son Kevin Cessna and wife Edie of Nederland; eleven grandchildren, six great grandchildren; one brother, Richard Nelson.
