She is preceded in death by her husband, Don E. Barnett; and her parents Buford and Katherine Leicht Thompson.

The family wants to extend their thanks and appreciation to Dr. Mark Toups and his nurse Kathy, good friend and neighbor Mildred (Mickey) L. May and many healthcare professionals who assisted her care the last several weeks.

To my cousins Don, Steve, Michael, Linda, Laura, and the rest of the family I am so very sorry to hear of your loss. I know that losing your sister and especially your mother at any age is very difficult and we are never too old to need them. I pray that you find peace and comfort in knowing that you will all meet again where there is no more pain and suffering Im sorry I couldn't be there personally as I am travelling for work. God be with you. Love & prayers.
