He had been a Lector, for over fifty years, until 2011, when he retired from that positon. Ted was known as the “ice tea man’, making tea for all church functions, including the Texas Rice Festival.

He is preceded in death by his parents; wife of fifty-seven years, Mary Bell Loupe; sister-in-law Betty Taylor and her husband, J.H. “Bub” Taylor; brother-in-laws, Larry LeBlanc, Sr.; and L.T. LeBlanc and his wife, Betty Jane; two brothers and four sisters.

A gathering of Ted’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., with a rosary recited at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, September 17, 2015, at Broussard’s, 134 West Buccaneer Drive, Winnie. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Friday, September 18, 2015, at St. Mary Catholic Church, 9894 Gilbert Road, Fannett, with interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont.
