Darlene Aiena, 65, of Sour Lake died February 19, 2005 at Memorial Hermann Baptist Beaumont Hospital. Darlene was a native of Beaumont and a lifetime resident of the area.
She is survived by her husband, Joe Aiena of Sour Lake; son, Jody Aiena and his wife Mary Ellen of Sour Lake; daughter, Cheryl Begnaud and her husband John of Sour Lake; mother, Rosalee Madaffri; and grandchildren, Lane Aiena, Bethany Aiena, Jessica Begnaud, and Todd Begnaud. Her father, Joseph Madaffri, preceded her in death.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 22, 2005 at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, Sour Lake followed by burial at Forest Lawn Cemetery under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 N Major Drive, Beaumont. Serving as pallbearers will be Leon Aiena, James Hicks, Anthony Marino, Jimmy Madaffri, Lane Aiena, and Gerard Cascio and honorary pallbearers are Thomas Aiena, Ricky Hicks, Tommy Cascio, Pat Anderson, and Robert Marino. A Christian Vigil will be 6:00 p.m. Monday evening, February 21, 2005 at the Mortuary.
