Harry Lee Castilaw, 74, of Warren died Sunday, February 13, 2005 at St. Elizabeth Hospital. Funeral Service will be Tuesday, February 15, 2005 at 11:00 A.M. at Broussard’s 700 W. Saratoga Hwy, Kountze, Texas 77625, with Masonic graveside rites to follow at Village Mills Cemetery in Village Mills. A gathering of family and friends will be today from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
A native of Beaumont Mr. Castilaw lived most of his life in Hardin County and was the owner of Kountze Electrical Works. He was a Mason and a member of the Myrta Masonic Lodge and the Pine Masonic Lodge. He was also a member of The First Baptist Church in Warren.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years: Velma Castilaw; daughters Janet Wheeler and husband Allen of Warren and Sheila Kane and husband Rocky of Lumberton; brother: John David Castilaw of Warren; step sisters Louise Bottoms of Jewitt, TX and Lorene Harper of Warren; grandchildren: Lee Ann Wheeler, Angela Wheeler, Taylor Kane and Brady Kane; great grandchildren Kade and Kenasyn Overstreet and numerous family and friends.
