In Loving Memory
Mildred Shane, 94, of Rose City, died Thursday, March 12, 2015.
A gathering of Mrs. Shane's family and friends will begin at 10:00 a.m., with her funeral service to follow at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 14, 2015, at Broussard's, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont. Her interment will follow at Magnolia Cemetery, Beaumont.
I would like to express my sincere sympathy to the family of your beloved Mildred. Although I never had the opportunity to meet Mildred personally, I wanted to share with you comfort from God's word at John 5:28,29. Here we are given the wonderful hope of the resurrection of our dear loved ones here on earth just as Lazarus was in John 11. Take comfort in knowing that every tear that falls from our eyes does not escape our loving heavenly Father's notice. He knows the depth of our feelings when we lose someone we love. (Psalm 34:18) Share your memories with those who surround you for the memories shared are the ones most truly cherished. May they bring you a sense of peace and joy in your hearts as you begin to heal. Take care of yourselves and each other during this very difficult time.

My deepest condolences, thoughts, and prayers are with you all. The video is such a touching tribute to Mimi. May you all be blessed with wonderful memories of her. I'm so sorry that I live so far away otherwise you know nothing would prevent me from being there for y'all. Please know I'm there in spirit. Michele & family...I know your hearts are broken, but what a wonderful long life Mrs. Shane had. I know how much you all loved her and I am sure she knew as well. I can only hope it comforts you some knowing that all who know and love you share in your grief. May the wonderful memories soon replace the saddness you are feeling now.
