Aunt Lois was a gracious lady and even though we didn't see each other often I will miss her. She was very kind to me and it helped to know that no matter where I was she was always thinking of me. Edgar, Rodney and Vonda please know that you are in my prayers and I grieve with you.

I wrote this poem for my Mimi. It doesn't do her justice but it is the only way I can get my grief out of my broken heart. I miss you Mimi so very much and I will never forget you. And I will say this to God. Listen to Mimi, because you may be the creator of the universe but she knows what she is doing. Tears fall from heaven when an angel dies God himself feels the grief An angel to me all my life I hate to see her leave But time can not be stopped or slowed To every good comes an end She still lives in the rain And the blowing of the wind Every time the cloud rolls in And the water begins to fall I'll know it's because my angel is gone And I'll remember it all Her sweet smile that lights up the dark Her voice that fills the air Her calming touch that touched my soul Her strength that knows no fear Now I sit outside until the sun sets Waiting for the storm to pass As she cries with God for my angel That now will forever last
