Grandpa Larry was, truly, one of the kindest people I've ever known. He never hesitated to help anyone in need. I believe that his generosity of spirit stemmed not only from his unshakeable belief in the innate goodness of all people, but also from his own kind heart. He will be terribly missed.

My heart is broken with the passage of my father Larry Lyda. He was the kindest most giving person that I have ever known. He has been a loving and caring man to all my brothers and sisters through the years. We will miss him greatly. May his memory be eternal!
