Brenda Jean Watts, 44, of Port Arthur died, Sunday January 23, 2005 at St. Mary Hospital in Port Arthur.
Brenda a native of Lake Charles, Louisiana was born July 23, 1960 and had been a resident of the Mid-County area most of her life. She was a legal secretary.
Survivors include her father and step-mother, Paul and Joan Watts of Port Arthur; brothers, Paul Watts and wife, Karen of Groves, Larry Dowden and wife, Laverne of Cedar Park; and Randy Dowden and wife, Mitzi of Spring; sisters, Tara Cureton and husband, Wayne of Nederland and Melinda Taylor and Karl of Port Arthur. Also surviving is an abundance of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and loving friends, and many, many of her pets.
Brenda was preceded in death by her mother, Lillie Mae Lee.
Funeral services will be 6:00 PM Wednesday, January 26, 2005 at Broussard’s Chapel, 505 12th Street, Nederland, with Reverend Phil Croft officiating. A gathering of family and friends will be from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening, January 25, 2005 at the Mortuary.
