Minta Cornwall Boudreaux, 84, of Beaumont, died Monday, February 17, 2014. She was born on December 13, 1929, in Beaumont, to Roby Mae Rogers Cornwall and John Arthur Cornwall.
Survivors include her children, Suzette Mireles and her husband, Greg; and Jennifer Rice and her husband, Joe, both of Lumberton; Lisa Boudreaux and David Boudreaux, both of Kountze; and Roby Boudreaux of Beaumont; grandchildren, Megan Riley and her husband, Benny; Stephanie Mayfield and her husband, Cory; Ross Mireles; Stephanie Perkins; Heather Cox and her husband, Steven; Nicholas Boudreaux and his wife, Danielle; Zachary Boudreaux; and Kara Williams; great-grandchildren, Zane, Alden, Ty, Tanner, Mallory, Clay, Joey, Ella, Tristen, and Autumn; sister, Edna Corbello and her husband, Melvin, of Beaumont; many nieces and nephews; and special friend, Reverend Monsignor James Dempsey.
She is preceded in death by her husband, David Ross Boudreaux; sister, Margaret Dunbar and her husband, Red; and sister, Sylvia Vickers and her husband, Leroy.
A gathering of Mrs. Boudreaux’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., with a Rosary recited at 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 18, 2014, at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 19, 2014, at St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church, 6825 Gladys Avenue, Beaumont, with interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont.
