Theresa “Tracy” Saleme, 98, of Beaumont, died Tuesday, February 4, 2014, at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth, Beaumont. She was born on November 30, 1915, in Beaumont, to Mary Oddo Daleo and Joseph Daleo.
Survivors include her sons, Coley “Nick” Saleme, Jr. and his wife, Virginia; Tommy J. Saleme and his wife, Betty; and James Edward Saleme all of Beaumont; sisters, Vinicie Daleo and Rosalie Talamantez both of Beaumont; brother, Sam Daleo of Beaumont; grandchildren, Sheila Saleme, Anthony Saleme, Chris Saleme, Lisa Saleme, and Frances Holden; seven great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Coley Nick Saleme; and numerous siblings.
A gathering Mrs. Saleme’s family and friends will be at 5:00 p.m., with a Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m., Friday, February 7, 2014, at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated, 1:00 p.m., Saturday, February 8, 2014, at St. Anthony Cathedral Basilica, 700 Jefferson Street, Beaumont, with interment to follow at Magnolia Cemetery, Beaumont.
