James "Jim" Henry Daniels, 81, of Beaumont, died Tuesday, February 4, 2014, at Mid-Jefferson Extended Care Hospital, Nederland. A native and lifelong resident of Beaumont, he was born on August 8, 1932, to Nancy Lowe Daniels and Wilbur Daniels. James was a United States Air Force veteran and a retired truck driver.
Survivors include his wife of forty-six years, Mary Daniels; sons, James Daniels, Jr. and his wife, Rose; Robert Lee Daniels; and Randal William Daniels, all of San Antonio; Robert Stephens and his wife, Mary, of Buna; John Stephens and his wife, Holly, of Beaumont; and Jason Wayne Daniels and his wife, Kristy, of New Boston; daughters, Mary Jeannotte and her husband, David, of Beaumont and Theresa Woodward and her husband, Tommy, of Sapulpa, Oklahoma; fourteen grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and brothers, Martin Daniels and his wife, Betty, of Clairmore, Oklahoma and Bobby Daniels of Booneville, Missouri.
A gathering of Mr. Daniels’ family and friends will begin at 3:00 p.m. Friday, February 7, 2014, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. A family committal will be held at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
