Cynthia Fay Smith, 82, of Port Acres died Saturday, January 1, 2005 at Lumberton Rehabilitation Center.
Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Tuesday at Broussard’s in Nederland with interment to follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches. A gathering of family and friends will be from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. Monday evening at the mortuary.
Mrs. Smith was a native of Beaumont and lived most of her life in Port Acres. She was retired co-owner and operator of Smith Grocery in Port Acres.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Smith, Sr.. She is survived by two daughters, Alice Brockschmidt and husband Fred of Krum and Sue Woods and husband Robert of Port Neches; two sons, Carl E. Smith, Jr. and wife of Silsbee and Johnny Smith and wife Gwen of Kirbyville; brother-in-law, Jackie Smith and wife Alverda; ten grandchildren, and fifteen great grandchildren.
