Ida Katherine Johnson, 88, of Beaumont died December 30, 2004 at her residence. A native of Natchez, Mississippi, she was a resident of Beaumont for seventy years.
She is survived by her daughters, Barbara Nebgen of Beaumont and Rita Ricks and her husband Rem of Yukon Territory, Canada. Her husband, Price Johnson, and her son-in-law, Walter Nebgen preceded her in death.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 a.m. Monday, January 3, 2005 at St. Pius X Catholic Church followed by burial at Magnolia Cemetery under the direction of Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin, Beaumont. A gathering of family and friends will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Sunday evening, January 2, 2005 at the Mortuary.
