Clinton Wayne “Clint” Welch, 43, of Sour Lake, died Wednesday, December 22, 2004 in Sour Lake.
A native of Beaumont, he had lived in Sour Lake for fifteen years and was a United States Navy veteran. Clint graduated in December of 2003 with an Associates Degree in Counseling from Lamar University and received his license as a Chemical Dependency Counselor. He was very active in scouting and youth baseball.
Survivors include his wife, Lara Welch of Sour Lake; his son, Troy Welch of Sour Lake; his daughters, Jessica Clark of Port Arthur and Shanda Clark of Bevil Oaks; his parents, Barry and Edith Welch of Vidor; and his brother, Clifton Welch of Vidor.
His brother, Clay Welch, preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Friday, December 24, 2004 at Broussard’s Crematorium 5150 Stivers Drive, under the direction of Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin.
