Thomas Aylor, 79, of Winnie, died Friday, August 23, 2013, at Winnie Community Hospital. He was born on September 28, 1933, in Madison, Virginia, to Martha Newman Aylor and Fred W. Aylor, and had been a resident of the area since 1971. Mr. Aylor was a United States Air Force veteran, retiring with the rank of Staff Sargent. He was a heavy equipment operator in the construction industry.

Survivors include his daughter, Debra Sue Aylor Powell, and her husband, Bill, of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; son, David L. Aylor, and his wife, Maria, of Landover, Maryland; sisters, Eleanor Jarrell, and her husband, Sam, of Orange, Virginia; Martha Ann Schultz, and her husband, Clarence, of Oshkosh, Wisconsin; a brother, Claude W. Aylor, and his wife, Alice, of West Chester, Ohio.

He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Robert W. Aylor; sisters, Margaret Gallihugh; Irene Bateman.

Cremation under the direction of Broussard’s, 5150 Stivers, Beaumont, TX.
