Betty Brannan Brown, 68, of Groves, died peacefully surrounded by her children on August 25, 2013.She was born February 25, 1945, to the late Doyle ‘Pep’ and Fern Wood Brannan. Betty was a teacher, real estate agent, and homemaker, but most importantly she was a precious daughter, loyal sister, beloved mother, and treasured friend.

She  is survived by her children, Lee Brown and his wife, Janet, of Port Neches; and Stacy Cliver and her husband, Matthew, of Aledo; grandchildren, Katherine Rape and her husband, David, Logan Brown, Brannan Rose Cliver, Zane Cliver and Jacob Cliver; and four great-grandchildren, Lee, Allen, Emma and Bradley Rape.

Betty is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Nancy Humphrey of Conway, Arkansas; and father of her children Jacky Spears Brown of Chouteau, Oklahoma.  

A Memorial Service for Mrs. Brown will be held at 3:00 P.M. Saturday, August 31, 2013, at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway, Arkansas.

Cremation arrangements were handled by Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
