Kyle Anthony Hood, 50, of Nederland, died Tuesday, August 20, 2013. He was born on January 23, 1963, to Rose and Marvin Hood, in Port Arthur, and had been a lifelong resident of the area. Kyle was a graduate of Nederland High School and worked in the construction industry.

He is survived by his son, Chase Hood; and mother, Rose Lee Hood, both of Nederland; brothers, Kirby Hood and his wife, Kristi, of Nederland and Chad Hood and his wife, Loretta, of Lumberton; numerous nieces and nephews; and life companion, Nikki Reaux.

Kyle is preceded in death by his father, Marvin Hood.

A committal service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, August 23, 2013, at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Groves, under the direction of Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland.
