Anna Mary Cates Ramke, 92, of Beaumont, died Monday, August 19, 2013. She was born August 9, 1921, in Crestview, Florida to Pansy and William Cates and had been a lifelong resident of the area. Anna worked as a medical secretary for many years before retiring.

She is survived by her daughters, Joanna Verret of Beaumont, Judy Watts and her husband, Jim, of Horseshoe Bay and Elizabeth Hale and her husband, Steve, of Beaumont; son, Bill Ogden and his wife, Mikki, of Dallas; ten grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren.

Anna is preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Ed Ogden; second husband, Roy Ramke; and two brothers.

A gathering of Mrs. Ramke’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 21, 2013, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. Her funeral service will be 10:00a.m., Thursday, August 22, 2013, at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, 2425 Nall Street, Port Neches, with entombment to follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park, Port Neches.
