Betty Joyce DuBose, 82, of Beaumont, died Saturday, August 17, 2013, at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth, Beaumont. She was born on May 28, 1931, in Livingston, to Attie Mae Watts and William E. Watts, and had been a longtime resident of the Beaumont area.

She is survived by her daughter, LaNell McDaniel and her husband, Russell; son, Wayne DuBose and his wife, Carolyn; grandchildren, Amanda Hutchens, Neal Bost, Stephen Bost, Thomas Bost, Tyler DuBose, Austin DuBose, Katy McDaniel, and Kyle McDaniel.

A gathering of Mrs. DuBose’s family and friends will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Monday, August 19, 2013, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. Her funeral service will be 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 20, 2013, at Broussard’s, followed by a graveside service at 4:30 p.m., at Seaman’s Cemetery, Chester.
