Ronald Leo Ruggles, 76, of Daisetta, died Friday, August 9, 2013, at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth, Beaumont. He was born on October 22, 1936, in Springfield, Ohio, and was a United States Army veteran. Ronald enjoyed riding motorcycles and was an avid model train collector.

Survivors include his daughter, Heather Bottoms and her husband, Jason; grandchild, Tayelor Bottoms, all of Porter; brother, Donald Ruggles of Springfield, Ohio; sister-in-law, Pearl Borque of Georgia; brother-in-law, Wilbert Borque and his wife, Kim, of Beaumont; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family.

A gathering of Mr. Ruggles’ family and friends will be from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 13, 2013, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. A family committal will be held at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
