Geraldine Bedford “Jerry” Williams, 86, of Lumberton, died Sunday, August 4, 2013.  She was born on May 19, 1927, in Port Arthur, to Elsie Mae Parker and George Bedford.  Jerry enjoyed many things; “game night” with her church friends, cooking for her family, working in her yard, reading, crossword puzzles, walking at the mall, and most especially, spending time with her grandchildren.  She was a faithful member of Ridgewood Church of Christ, in Beaumont, for over twenty-three years.

Survivors include her children, James Stephen Williams and his wife, Jana, of Kyle; Michael Cade Williams and his wife, Alissa, of Lumberton; and Rebecca Sue Brunsink and her husband, Dave, of Warrenton, Virginia; grandchildren, Ryan Brunsink and his wife, Ashleigh, of Malibu, California; Paige Brunsink of Richmond, Virginia; Brett Brunsink of Warrenton, Virginia; and Jordan Williams and Jenna Williams, both of Lumberton; and brother, Freddy Bedford and his wife, Mary Ann, of Houston.  She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Talmadge “Bill” Williams, who she dearly loved and adored for over sixty-one years; brother, George Stephen Bedford, Jr.; and sister, Ada Bedford Foster.

A gathering of Mrs. Williams’ family and friends will begin at 12:30 p.m., with her funeral service at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, August 11, 2013, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee.  A family committal will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont.
