Calvin James Hough, 54, of Kountze, died Saturday, July 27, 2013.  He was born on March 5, 1959, in Houston, to Mary Jane Bonin Hough and Tommy Brian Hough, and had been a resident of Kountze for eight years.  Calvin was employed as a truck driver for South Hampton Refinery for eighteen years.

Survivors include his wife, Aveta Hough; children, Rita Renee’ Hough of Beaumont, Calvin Brian Hough of Lumberton, and Casey James Hough and his wife, Danielle, of Woodville; mother, Mary Jane Hough of Kountze; brothers, Charles Ray Hough and Billy Joe Hough, both of Woodville; sister, Tonya Foxworth of Woodville; and six grandchildren, Emily, Kenzi, Gabriel, Camdyn, Lily, and Trinity; and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

A gathering of Mr. Hough’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 30, 2013, at Broussard’s, 530 West Monroe, Kountze.  His funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 31, 2013, at Broussard’s, with his interment to follow at 2:00 p.m., at Oak Grove Cemetery, Broaddus.
