Ruth I. LeMaire
May 19, 1920 - July 28, 2013 |
Ruth I. LeMaire, age 93, went to the Lord and to be with her husband, J.I LeMaire on July 28, 2013. J.I passed away April 13, 2000, and has been waiting for her to meet him in heaven. She was born May 19, 1920, in Beaumont, to Marion Rankin Davidson and Joseph Henry Davidson. Ruth had two sisters, Beth Bulgier and Lois Snodgrass; and a brother, Joe Davidson, who is survived by his wife, Martha. Ruth and J.I were married for over sixty years and had two children: daughter, Ruth Ann Lisotta married to Tony Lisotta, Sr., who reside in Dallas; and son, Michael Craig LeMaire married to Pei, who reside in San Antonio. Ruth had four grandchildren, Kimberly Ann Piepenbrok married to Eric, who reside in Dallas; Tony Lisotta, Jr. married to Claudia, who reside in Tampa, Florida; Michael Craig LeMaire, Jr. who resides in San Antonio; and Lisette LeMaire. She also had four great-grandchildren, Ashley Ayala married to LeeRoy, who reside in Dallas; Paul Piepenbrok who resides in Dallas; and Nathaniel and Nicholas Lisotta, of Tampa, Florida; and her niece, Sue Nance of Winnie, Texas. She was a member of Highland Park United Methodist Church, Dallas. Mom, I know you are dancing with Dad who has been waiting for you. I cannot tell you how much I miss you. You were the best mother I could ever ask for. Throughout her life Mom loved to write and composed several poems that she shared with our family."Each Morning I wake up I ask for Help, the Spirit within makes me strong, I get up and I am able to stand, then I can Walk! What a Blessing I am strong! Some mornings I feel sad, but I try hard not to let it get me down. I ask for help, soon I feel better because I know I can.” She wrote this one about me “First in Line.” "Everyone should have a daughter like mine that is thoughtful, generous and kind, she had others she cares for too, but you see I am First in Line.” Goodbye Mom, I will miss you so much and one day we will all be together as a family planning parties with champagne and strawberries. A gathering of Mrs. LeMaire’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 30, 2013, at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont. Her funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 31, 2013, at Broussard’s with interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont. Our family wishes to give special thanks to all the staff at Manchester Place and Hospice. Special thanks to Dr. Kelley Newcomer for her loving compassion, support and communication skills she displayed to our family during this time.
