Nannie Margaret “Patty” Chiappetta, 93, of Beaumont, died July 27, 2013 at Lucas House.  A resident of Beaumont since 1938, Patty was the daughter of Quida Rachel Johnson Eldridge and John Preston Eldridge. 

She is survived by her daughters, Kathryn Ann Sherwood and her husband, Danny, of Houston; Sandra Martin and her husband, Robert, of Beaumont; and Linda Hasha and her husband, Brian, of The Woodlands; ten grandchildren; and nineteen great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Chiappetta; and two granddaughters.

A rosary for Mrs. Chiappetta will be recited at 4:00 p.m., Sunday, July 28, 2013, with a gathering of family and friends to follow, at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin, Beaumont.  A private family committal will be held at a later date.  Cremation will be at Broussard’s Crematorium, 5150 Stivers, Beaumont.
