Erma Alice Koch, 80, of Kirbyville, died Sunday, July 21, 2013.  She was born on August 28, 1932, in Hardin, to Mary Bush Rives and Samuel Rives.

Survivors include her children, Randy Koch of Bronson; Ted Koch and his wife, Michelle, of League City; Karla Biasiolli and her husband, Don, of Richmond; and Tana Rhodes and her husband, Kurt, of Kirbyville; grandchildren, Randall Koch, Jr. and his wife, Sarah, of Bronson; Juston Koch of California; Trey Koch of Beaumont; Taylor Megarity Koch of China; Jessica Koch Shead and her husband, Bradley, of League City; Allison Long of Huntsville; and Blaine Rhodes of Kirbyville; great-grandchildren, Cadence Koch of Bronson and Lucas Shead of League City; brothers, Elbert Rives of Orange; Ben Rives of Oregon; and Reggie Rives of Florida; and sister, Mittie Harrell of Kirbyville.  She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, William H. “Jack” Koch, Sr.; son, William Henry “Bill” Koch, Jr.; and siblings, Mary Hinklin; Samuel Rives; Tommy Rives; Ernest Rives; and John Paul Rives.

A gathering of Mrs. Koch’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Friday, July 26, 2013, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee.  Her funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 27, 2013, at Broussard’s, with interment to follow at Davis Cemetery, Kirbyville.
