John Clifford
Hebert, Jr., 61, of Port Neches, died Sunday, July 21, 2013. He was born on September 28, 1951, to Margaret
and J.C. Hebert, in Port Arthur, and had been a lifelong resident of the area. John
was employed with Motiva Enterprises for thirty-eight and a half years before
his retirement. He was also a member of Magnolia Church: Assembly of God, in
Port Neches.
John is
survived by his wife, Brenda Fondren Hebert of Port Neches; sons, John D.
Hebert and his wife, Nutshara, of both Lake Jackson and Chonburi, Thailand; and
James D. Hebert of Lake Jackson; grandchildren, McKenzie Hebert, Madison
Hebert, Ethan Hebert, and Jacob Hebert; brother, David W. Hebert and his wife,
Patti; father, J.C. Hebert; and numerous other family members and friends.
He is preceded
in death by his mother, Margaret Matulik Hebert.
A gathering of
Mr. Hebert’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.,
Wednesday, July 24, 2013, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street,
Nederland. His funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, July 25, 2013, at Magnolia
Church: Assembly of God, 2215 Nall Street, Port Neches. An interment
will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday at Mount Pisgah Community Cemetery, Woodville.
